![]() Most students will participate in a core program at the middle school level. No specific projects or units are mandated centrally. Students at the high school level must complete an approved service-learning program of individual service or participate in a number of locally approved projects during their high school experience. At this level the teacher develops the plans for integrating the service-learning project into the unit or lessons as a way to achieve unit objectives. Service learning for middle school students is addressed in interdisciplinary teams as a part of the student’s regular classroom learning activities. ![]() Students in grades six through twelve will participate in a comprehensive infused service-learning program.
